Volume Booster Music Player | Last updated: May 16, 2026
Summary: Volume Booster Music Player works completely offline. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your music library stays entirely on your device.
We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:
The app requests permission to read audio files stored on your device (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO on Android 13+ or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on earlier versions). This permission is used solely to display and play your local music files.
Settings for the equalizer, volume boost, bass boost, virtualizer, and reverb are saved locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.
The app runs a foreground media playback service to allow continuous music playback while your screen is off or when you switch apps. This service does not access the internet or transmit any data.
When connected to Android Auto, the app shares track metadata (song title, artist name) with the Android Auto interface solely to display the now-playing information on your car's screen. This data is not transmitted over the internet.
No permission is used to access the internet, camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
Volume Booster Music Player does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or crash reporting. The only external framework used is Jetpack Media3 (ExoPlayer) by Google, which runs entirely on-device.
This app does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. It fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
